about

HALOS by MORTEM OBIRE is an experimental album which combines drone with ambient and other genres. Its lengthy tracks, a cascading and hypnotic aural triptych, transport the listener to another realm. The lack of percussion leaves one ungrounded, free to drift or anchor themselves as they choose.

Track one contains an excerpt from the abdication address of King Edward VIII (1936).
